CasparCG as a live-events media server
What it does
CasparCG Server is a superb playout engine with an odd gap around it. The organisation's own frontend is archived and the maintained client is a Qt desktop app, so there's no maintained web front end at all. More to the point, most of what a live-events media server needs is already inside CasparCG, just not exposed anywhere you can get at it.
caspar-AV is a Rust bridge daemon and a browser console that get at it: screens on a show canvas, cues that change several of them on the same frame, a media library, GDD template forms and a trigger grid. Dragging a screen writes MIXER FILL, and the corner-pin numbers write MIXER PERSPECTIVE. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the CasparCG project.

Where it stands
Released at v0.1.5 for six targets, a dependency release. v0.1.4 made the macOS build one universal image instead of two per-arch ones, v0.1.3 only changed the release workflow, and v0.1.2 moved the console to React 19, refreshed dependencies and guarded the Windows installer's write to the system PATH, which the v0.1.1 installer could overwrite. The protocol work came from reading the CasparCG 2.5.0 source and was then tested against a real CasparCG 2.5.0 server, which found six bugs, including a command-ordering mistake that broke every MIXER and CG command. It hasn't been run on real output hardware or in a live show.
