What it does
A Bitfocus Companion module for WebLinked, so navigating, reloading, running JavaScript in the page, muting, changing the raster format and switching any SDI, NDI, OMT or screen output on and off can all live on a Stream Deck.
It uses the HTTP control API rather than OSC. WebLinked speaks both with the same verbs, but OSC has no way to send anything back, so a module driven over OSC could press buttons all day and never light one. The pacing and receiver numbers are the reason to put this on a surface in the first place.
- Navigate, reload with cache bypass, and run JavaScript in the page
- Per-output enable, disable, background colour, add and remove
- Multi-source aware, with the primary addressed by an empty selector
- Health feedbacks for dropped ticks, repeated frames, console errors and popups
- Presets generated from the outputs the rig actually has
- WebLinked instances discovered in the config panel, with manual entry kept first-class — an instance on the default loopback bind deliberately does not advertise
Where it stands
Released. Tested against a pretend WebLinked over a real HTTP server, but not yet against a live output. It isn't in the official Companion module store, so install it as a developer module.
