What it does
A Bitfocus Companion connection module for flock — change what any BirdDog Play decoder is playing, take a source to every decoder carrying a tag, reboot, and manage fleet membership.
Its group feedback lights only when every member landed on the source, not when most did. A decoder that stops answering is shown as offline rather than holding its last reading.
- Play an NDI source or SRT endpoint on any decoder
- Take a source to a whole tag group, with per-member failures logged individually
- A monitor tile per decoder, including online-but-no-picture
- Bitrate and resolution feedbacks for a starved feed
- The status poll interval is configurable, because each poll reaches every decoder
Where it stands
Released. Verified against a fake flock over a real HTTP server and WebSocket, not against decoders. Not in the official Companion module store — install it as a developer module.
