Companion — LivePremier Plus
The cue stack on a Stream Deck

What it does
A Bitfocus Companion module for LivePremier Plus. The GO key carries the standby cue's number and name, so the button says what it's about to do; cue keys go amber for the standby and red for the one fired last, and a lock key goes red when its layer is locked.
It drives what LivePremier Plus adds to the switcher and nothing else. Sources, memories and takes stay with Analog Way's own AWJ module, which talks to the frame directly, because two connections that can both put something on air is a show where nobody knows which one last did. LivePremier Plus's Companion panel adds the pair, each pointed where it belongs.
The Timeline, the locks and your variables live in the Web RCS page you have open through LivePremier Plus, so their keys are run by that page, exactly as its own buttons would be: Preview lock and the padlocks see a key press the way they'd see a click. The page can sit in a background tab. Matrix, HyperDeck and Triggers keys go straight to LivePremier Plus and need no page.
- GO, Back, Skip, Top and Stop, with the standby cue's number and name on the GO key
- Fire a cue or make it the standby by its number, and arm timecode chase
- Layer Lock, Take only and Send to a layer group, by layer or by group name
- Matrix crosspoints, including routes through the patch named by the switcher's own input or output
- HyperDeck transport, Triggers and Restore all, the Console and your @variables
- Presets built from the show: cue keys, lock keys, a row for the first router and transport for each deck
- Every refusal in LivePremier Plus's own words in the log: "there is no cue 9", "PGM is locked on S1"
Where it stands
Released at v0.1.1, which needs LivePremier Plus 0.18.8 or newer for the Control API it talks to. It isn't in Companion's module store: download the package from the release and use Import module package under Modules, in Companion 5.0 or newer. It has been driven end to end from Companion 5.0.7 against LivePremier Plus, Analog Way's rack simulator and an emulated HyperDeck: the connection added by LivePremier Plus's own panel, the released package installed into a clean Companion, presets pressed and their feedbacks checked on the rendered buttons, with the Web RCS tab in the background for over a minute. It hasn't met a real switcher, a real HyperDeck or a Stream Deck yet. v0.1.1 made the Restore key read PUT BACK, because RESTORE broke mid-word on a key.
